Founded in 1992 by John and David Clarkson, we have built a highly skilled and loyal team to provide a consistently first-class level of service. Both John and David remain very hands-on to ensure such high quality is maintained.
As many of our building projects involve a large amount of cabinetry and joinery, we created our sister company Clarkson Joinery and Furniture Ltd in 2014. All the cabinetry and joinery for our building projects is supplied by our sister company. Both companies also carry out projects independently.

John and David are both time served tradesmen, John as a carpenter/joiner and David as an electrician. David is a member of the NICEIC electrical governing body. Prior to the formation of Clarkson Builders, John and David both had successful individual companies.
John had a bespoke joinery company and David an electrical company. They worked individually in the high end refurbishment market as sub- contractors and so it seemed a natural progression to join forces and become main contractors.
